SENTALER FW17 :creative campaign

When Canadian entrepreneur Bojana Sentaler first launched the SENTALER collection in market, the excitement and success was palpable. The signature alpaca outerwear has since been seen on members of the Royal family  such as Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex, as well as supermodel Gigi Hadid and many others.

Inspired by the ballerina, NordströmMatte managed and facilitated the creative campaign, photo and video shoot for SENTALER’s FW17 collection. Featuring The National Ballet of Canada’s First Soloist, Tanya Howard, this campaign captured how the brand is championing artistry beyond traditional runway models.

This campaign focused on capturing the beauty of contemporary and classical dance alongside the effortless movement of luxurious alpaca fabric. Exclusively releasing the campaign on OLIVIAPALERMO.COM, and featured in WWD amongst vast other publications, SENTALER solidified its place in the luxury market, fit for royalty, celebrities and women all around the world.

”Shot by the talented Mike Lewis and featuring Tanya Howard, the first soloist of the National Ballet of Canada, the video is meant to project not only how luxurious each of the pieces are by highlighting the rich hues, texture of the alpaca and defined signature ribbed details, but how they also allow for graceful movements and comfort – even while standing on the tippy points of your toes.

”To emphasize the inherent flexibility of her outerwear, last season Sentaler collaborated with local dance artist Tanya Howard, a leading ballerina with the National Ballet of Canada, who became the face of the 2017 fall/winter collection”

“Each season she releases a variety of silhouettes in a wide range of colours, from Tourmaline Pink to Gull Grey. These are coats meant to be worn and not just photographed; movement is built right into the design”
